1537 Corinth avenue Apartment

This is one of the first apartments built in Sawtelle and is still around today. This 18 Unit, 2 story Apartment at 1537 Corinth avenue, just north of Santa Monica Blvd., West Los Angeles was built in 1928 with Original interior hardwood floors, high coffered ceilings, large arched front windows and exterior Architectural touches that are similar to the original Sawtelle Courthouse and Sawtelle Boulevard School built in 1923.

The 1928 Street City Directory shows the following residents for the CORINTH APARTMENT at 1537 Corinth Ave. – J. A. Buccola, Henry Cone, B. B. Croft, Mrs. Villa Croft, W. G. Hancock, W. G. Haraway, Cecil W. Hoffman, W. H. Osteroff, Albert Verge, Leonardo Wilhelm.
