1922 – The Sawtelle Lions Club

The Sawtelle Lions Club was organized in 1922, whose leading members included some of the successful Merchants of Sawtelle in the 1920s. One of the major accomplishments of the Sawtelle Lions Club was the Lark Ellen home for Boys on Olympic Blvd. and Corinth avenue.
